Discuss
Give advantages and disadvantages where possible. Use examples to expand your answer and provide a conclusion if possible.
Compare
Compare similarities or differences between 2 or more factors, giving a conclusion where possible. ‘Whereas’ links your 2 points. Never write, the other one doesn’t— always describe, briefly, both points in the same comparison.
Distinguish
Identify only the differences between 2 or more factors
Justify
Generally a benefit. Give reasons to support your suggestions or course of action being taken
