Means “man” or “person” in a general or somewhat formal sense. مرء
Also means “man” or “person”, but often used with emphasis on the individual as a person with qualities, sometimes implying nobility or character. امرؤ

يَوْمَئِذٍ
يَوْمَئِذٍ means “on that day” or “that very day”.
يَوْمَ (yawma) — “day” (with fatḥa ending)
- fatḥa (accusative) ending, because of the compound structure
ئِذٍ (ʾidhin) — “then” or “at that time” (with kasra and tanwīn)
- kasra + tanwīn (genitive case)
The glottal stop (hamza ء) connects the two parts smoothly.
USAGE:
Common in Quranic and classical Arabic to indicate a specific, important day (often the Day of Judgment).
EXAMPLE:
وَيَوْمَئِذٍ لا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذَنْبِهِ إِنْسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ
(And on that day, no soul will be asked about its sin, neither human nor jinn.) — Quran 55:39
