Which area of the central nervous system does the Reliefband affect?
The emetic (E-met-tik) center of the brain (controls the nausea in your stomach by sending opposite signal to cut off the feeling of nausea)
How does the Reliefband lead to reduced feelings of nausea?
The Reliefband stimulates a nerve in the wrist that travels up the nerve to the emetic center of the brain. You can actually feel a tingling in your fingers to signal that device is on the right spot on the wrist.

What should be done to prepare the wrist for the Reliefband?
Apply conductivity gel the size of a pea, rub into a sheen the size of a large coin.
Where is the general area in which the contacts should be placed?
On the underside of the wrist, 2 finger length away from the crease in the wrist.
How long does it take the user to feel the effects of the band?
5-15 minutes or instantly. Can take longer for certain individuals.

Should the Reliefband be used before or after symptoms start?
Both! Recommended to be used beforehand if you know what/when symptoms occur.
