A

Fever for at least 5 days + 4 of the ff:
CRASH
-Conjunctivitis, Rash, Adenopathy, Strawberry tongue, Hand changes

Diagnostic criteria- Juvenile Dermatomyositis

A

Classic rash (heliotrope rash of the eyelids, Gottron papules) + 3 of the ff:
“4 Muscle”
(weakness, enz, graphic, biopsy)

  1. Weakness (symmetrical, proximal)
  2. muscle enzyme elevation > 1 (CK, aspartate, AT, LDH, aldolase)
  3. electromyographic changes (myopathy, denervation)
  4. muscle biopsy (necrosis, inflammation)

Criteria for diagnosis of SLE

A

SOAP BRAIN MD

-Serositis (pleuritis, pericarditis)
-Oral ulcers (painless)
-Arthritis (2 or more joints)
-Photosensitivity
-Blood changes
(anemia, leukopenia, low platelet)
-Renal disorder (persistent proteinuria, cellular casts)
-ANA abnormal titer
-Immunologic changes (anti-DNA Ab, anti-Sm)
-Neurologic signs
-Malar rash
-Discoid rash
