Is a guess at the outcome of a hypothesis
Prediction:
Individuals who participate in research studies

Theory:
Computer database that maintains all the abstracts
PsycINFO:
Summary of the research report
120 words or less
Abstract:
Outlines the investigated problems
Introduction selection:
Divided into subsections by the author depending on the complexity of the research design
Overview of design
Method section
Findings presented by the researcher through:
Description in narrative form
Description in statistical language
Material in table or graphs
Results selection:
Reviews the research from various perspective
Explains how the results compare with past results
Includes suggestions for practical applications and for future research on the topic
Presents methodological weaknesses and/or strengths
Discussion section
Articles that summarize the research in a particular area
