how can wiki sites be useful
A
they allow a community of users to share knowledge on a particular topic. it is often edited by experts in particular topics and the information is often quite a good summary of a topic. when content is edited, it is checked over by others in the community and there is opportunity to question the content. they should refer to all sources from which the information is gathered

why is wiki maybe not the most reliable source of information
A
we dont know who provided the content and cannot trust the verification process which could take time and could be flawed. this means that any info from wiki should be double checked. and the sources that wiki articiles site should also be checked
