RTT Phase II: Interpret Flashcards
(9 cards)
What is Left Hand/Right Hand?
LH/RH is where you/the client links the scenes from the Detective Work with the PP (presenting problem).
What are the key beliefs that keep the client from moving forward/past the PP?
What does the left hand represent?
The left hand always represents the past and what the client is letting go of. The right hand always represents the present and what the client wants now.
What does the right hand represent?
The right hand always represents the present and what the client wants now.
What does daisy-chaining mean?
The three or more scenes uncovered are all somehow linked to the PP.
You are daisy-chaining those three scenes together and saying in your mind, how did those three scenes lead me to where I am today? How did those three scenes give me issues, or negative beliefs, or limiting beliefs, or some hurt?
What does R.F.P.I. stand for?
Role. Function. Purpose. Intention.
What is R.F.P.I. do for the client?
The purpose of RFPI is to i) uncover why a physical/emotional ailment came into the client’s life and what it is trying to do for them and ii) to show the client that if they had the power to create an emotional/physical ailment, that they also have the ability to transform it/let go of it.
What does LH/RH do for the client?
With LH/RH, the client is able to recognize the meaning they attach to the scenes. It is the beginning of the client understanding how their interpretation of their past led to their current beliefs.
It is important to help the client understand that it is not the scenes that hurt them. It is the meaning they have attached to those scenes that hurts them; it is the interpretation. But they have the ability to change their interpretation, and that is what RTTⓇ will help them to do.
What are the three P’s?
There are only three reasons a client has a physical issue, emotional issue or habit: Protect, Punish, Prioritize Self (Get Attention).
