the message and intent behind the campaign is the same

making individuals who simply accepted to status quo consider the campaign and consider the unjustness of it
what is the augmentation principle
great sacrifices occur in the name of the campaign -> individuals risk their life or go to prison in order to show their commitment
what is the snowball effect
gradual change in the minority who are starting to convert the majority to the viewpoint -> more people believe in it
what is social cryptomnesia
people have a memory of the change but don’t remember how it came about
