Sent to Cesarea and remained a prisoner for two years. Sent to Rome for a trial, suffered shipwreck. Was in Rome two years before he was released. Visited Asia, Macedonia, Crete, maybe Spain. He was taken prisoner to Rome and suffered martyrdom in the spring of 65 a D.
Corinthians
Corinthians lacked unity.
Paul testifies of the resurrection. Three bodies, three glories. see JST.
Christ comforts us in our trials.
Don’t be a hypocrite, godly sorrow is good.
Galatians
To correct the Judaizers false teachings. Angry letter. We are all sons & daughters through Christ (Abba = daddy).
Peter and Barnabas are being hypocrites.
The law is their schoolmaster.
Romans
Prepare Romans for a visit and refute Judaizers.
Not ashamed of the gospel. Blessed are those who sins are covered. Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. Faith is a part of justification — never stop keeping the commandments!
Justification, grace, reconciliation, sanctification.
Faith and works. Luther changed it to “grace alone.”
Philipians
Written well imprisoned Rome. Gospel = happiness & persecution.
To thank the Saints for their help.

No matter what trials we face we will win a crown of glory if we remain righteous.
To Christ’s servants about the near future.
