Propaganda portrayed Hitler as hard-working and uncompromising, he was displayed as a political genius who was able to solve Germany’s problems. He was portrayed as forceful (compared to Weimar politicians) and the guardian of morality and justice.

Hitler was not particularly involved in the day-to-day government. He supplied the overall vision that his ministers and officials were supposed to work towards.
