why were agreements reached easily
many tentative agreements were made just to keep Stalin on side - ussr had vast manpower and w/o them usa and uk would struggle!

POLAND - Stalin wanted land that was promised to him in the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and so the others powers agreed to compensate this wish however they were not specific about the borders are were not committed to this idea
why did leaders want to physically meet at tehran
wanted to demonstrate how they were a united front against the axis powers - propaganda element, the countries were forced to cooperate military strategy against Hitler
what was Stalin’s emphasis at the conference and why
2nd front! this would relieve pressure on the red army which was bearing the brunt of the fighting against Germany
