What is a life cycle
The specific stages of development through which an individual goes from the beginning of life to death is known as the life cycle.
The family life cycle
Is the series of changes a family may go through over time. The chronological development of the family life cycle explains the phases of the development through which a family passes as it becomes established, expands and then contracts. It also explains the structure, functions, experiences, societal roles and expectations associated with these phases.
