Assume the Scientific Method is about getting things correct but it’s actually about how to get things wrong correctly

Scientific method about testing hypothesis -educated test
“Theory” in everyday language it means hypothesis but in science it’s different
“Scientific theory” is different
Hypothesis about supernatural but it cannot be tested. Science as of now can’t say anything about ghosts all we know is that there is no evidence to support that maybe in the future.
We can’t go from observation to theory - testing is the cornerstone. A regular theory you can but a scientific theory must be testable.
If you are wrong you have to swallow your pride. We have contiuasly wrong based on our own

Theory is NOT the same as hypothesis

Without theory of relativity there would be no GPS so the word “theory” in science is more like a law.
How strong a theory is can be determined by how much it’s been tested
Darwin’s theory of evolution was around for a lot longer
Quantam thoery most tested theory in sceince I’m testing it right now. Relitively young compared to Darwin’s evoltion but it wasn’t tested as much over the year
Once a year vs a thousand times it doesnt matter how long it took to test it, it’s how much it’s been tested that determines how strong it is.

Aristotle got a lot of things right but that one thing wrong. Wasnt testing the right way but still had logic
At the end of the day it still has to be tested in order for it to be right. Getting correct by accident but the problem is when you get it incorrect becuase people don’t want to put their pride and ego aside to ackowledge the truth.
