Who can issue a medical certificate in relation to an injury?
Only a registered medical practitioner
Such as a GP surgeon or specialist
If an employee suffers an injury at work, what are the first steps the supervisor needs to take?
Offer support
Complete an incident report in my Police
A medical certificate is required if the employee has how much time off of work?
Five days
If the employee has had more than 10 days off of work, what is required of them before commencing work again
And what is the supervisor required to offer?
A medical clearance needs to be obtained by the employee
The supervisor needs to discuss light duties
