The sales supply of alcohol act has two main objectives.
What are they?
A
- That the sale, supply and consumption of alcohol should be undertaken SAFELY
And the HARM caused by excessive consumption should be minimized

Under section 267 Police have a power of entry to licensed premises
When can this power of entry be used?
A
- To ascertain whether the provisions of the act and conditions of the license are being met.
- If there is reasonable grounds to believe that any offense against the actors being committed on the premises.

What can Police require under the act?
A
- The production of any license book will notice required to be kept.
- Require any information from the licensee or manager regarding their duties.

What does that mean?
A
They committed offense

What can Police ask a person to do?

Provide their particulars
