In the Philippines the native people invited the captains to dinner & massacred them. Elcano survived bc of his demotion.

King John didn’t generous issue it to the barons as much as the noblemen forced it on him during a period of civil unrest. Many of the Magna Carta’s laws are still in effect in England today.
