- Extend their head.
- Laterally flex their head.
- Rotate their head to the same side.

- Ask patient to bring their hands behind their back to their lower back.

A

Have patient lying down on their back.
- Lift arm up and rotate it 45 degrees so thumb is pointing to clavicle.
- Stabilising hand goes on opposite shoulder.
- Place forcing hand on the inside of the wrist and instruct patient to not let me push their arm out.

A

Have patient lying down on their back.
- Lift arm up and rotate it so thumb is pointing to the toes.
- Extend arm out and up 110-120 degrees.
- Stabilising hand goes on opposite shoulder.
- Place forcing hand on the inside of the wrist and instruct patient to not let me push their arm up and out.
