- Lift patients arm up 90 degrees.
- Stabilizing hand on the shoulder.
- Asking patient to resist you pushing straight down.
Please test the following muscle: Deltoid - Posterior fibers.
Have patient seated.
- Lift patients arm up 90 degrees.
- Internally rotate the arm so fist is going down.
- Stabilizing hand on the shoulder.
- Push the arm on the elbow, asking the patient to resist you from pushing their arm down.
Please test the following muscle: Deltoid - Anterior fibers.
Have patient seated.
- Lift patients arm up 90 degrees.
- Lift fist externally up.
- Stabilizing hand on the shoulder.
- Contact hand on the bicep and ask patient to resist you from pulling their arm down.

- Lift fist externally up.
- Stabilizing hand on the shoulder.
- Place hand on wrist and ask patient to try and externally rotate their arm.

- Stabilizing hand on the shoulder.
- Internally rotate the arm down.
- Place hand on posterior wrist and get the patient to resist you from pushing their arm up.

- Place contact hand in between the body and elbow.
- Ask patient to resist you pulling their arm out.
