Because reversion is a very specific mutation, whereas compensatory mutations have more mutation options.

Why should one chose lytic phages instead of lysogenic phages in phage therapy? (2)

A

Because bacteria stays when it’s lysogenic, and because lysogenic phages can spread virulence and resistance genes.
