Internship
An undergraduate student enrolled in the professional sequence of a college of pharmacy approved by the Board and who is participating in a board-approved internship program or a graduate of a college of pharmacy who is participating in a board-approved internship.

3 Types of Pharmacist Interns
(Type of Pharmacist Intern)
- a pharmacist intern, registered with the Board who is enrolled in the first year of the professional sequence of a Texas college/school of pharmacy and may only work in a site assigned by a Texas college/school of pharmacy.
Intern Trainee
(Type of Pharmacist Intern)
- A pharmacist intern, registered with the Board who is enrolled in the professional sequence of a college/school of pharmacy, has completed the first professional year and obtained a minimum of 30 credit hours of work toward a professional degree in pharmacy, and is participating in a Board-approved internship program
