The private channels always have a selection of U.S. blockbusters. I love seeing the U.S. movie and then catching it on Spanish TV later.
. It’s interesting to see the differences in the language and how the plot is interpreted for another culture. I’ve also seen blockbusters from other countries on Spanish TV. Sometimes I think a little bit of the meaning gets lost in translation from the original, but I always get the main idea!

His first work, a surrealist film called Un chien andalou, was a collaboration with Salvador Dalí. It was made to shock the French intellectual community but ended up being met with great success.
After Luis Buñuel’s first work
Buñuel also worked briefly in Los Angeles, though with little success in film. He then moved to New York where he worked at the Museum of Modern Art. Buñuel’s political beliefs created a conflict at the museum, and he resigned and moved to México. He then made commercial films that were quite successful. He made more and more commercial films in México, where the film industry was thriving. There, he stayed and made 20 films. He continued to travel to France to and España to make films. His film, Viridiana, which he filmed in España, took top honors at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France.
