Q

Urine formation:

A
  1. Glomerular filtration: water and solutes are forced through capillary walls of glomerular capsule. once in the capsule, it is called filtrate.
  2. Tubular reabsorption: important substances in the filtrate are transported out of tubule cells and removed from filtrate. urea and uric acid remain in filtrate.
  3. Tubular secretion: wastes are removed from blood to be eliminated in urine.
