  2. Near its upper end, body receives uterine tubes on both sides, fusion point between uterine tube and uterus body is called uterine cornu

  1. Uterus lower constricted part
  2. Its cavity (cervical canal) is spindle shaped which opens into uterine cavity by internal os and into vagina by external os
  3. Its lower 1/2 projects into upper part of vagina anterior wall dividing cervix it into vaginal and supravaginal parts
  4. Vaginal grooves surrounding vaginal part are called vaginal fornices
