A

During Covid, government considered mandating vaccinations for all nhs staff to protect patients.
This quickly became controversial as critics said it could lead to staff shortages (unvaccinated staff may leave their jobs.
Early 2022- government dropped the plan to prioritise keeping staff in the workplace over enforcement
