1. To provide funding to organisations to implement health promotion programs
2. Carry out research and evaluate health promotion programs
3. Sponsor sporting, cultural and artistic organisations to raise a weariness about opportunities that can promote the health of Victorians
4. Lobby and advocate for policy and legislation change

1. In partnership with others, promote good health
2. Recognise that the social and economic conditions for all people influence their health
3. Promote fairness and opportunity for better health
4.Support initiatives that assist individuals, communities, workplaces and broader society to improve well being
