How do NGB’s prevent violence?
NGB’s keen to present positive image of their sports to fan spectators sponsors, Use post match evidence to cite a player and put on report, punish violent acts, promote performers with good disciplinary record, fair play and respect campaigns

What are solutions for spectator violence?
Ban or control alcohol sales, Increased police intellegence and liaisons across the country to gather intel, Imposing tougher detterents, CCTV around grounds, All seater stadiums, segregated seating/family zones, Police imposed kick off times to limit alcohol consumption, passing laws against trespass/pitch invasion.
what are negative consequences for football?
Media images of fans brawling caused image of football to decline, led to decline in participation, led to decrease in the number of fans attending matches, away fans banned from travel/spectating,
How does violence impact clubs?
large numbers of hooligans means clubs need to pay more stewards police security etc, England fans viewed negatively globally having impact on bids to host competitions, England fans viewed as out of control thugs.
