Appeasement

How did the attitude of the democracies toward the Soviet Union change during the 1930s
Before hand, the democracies were against the Soviet Union as they didn’t agree with communism. However, once the fascist started invading other lands, they saw that the fascist were a bigger threat and sided with communism.
What factors weakened the League of Nations
-They focused on building economies instead of military.
-Kept appeasing fascist leaders.
-USA and Soviet Union are not in it.
Why did France and Britain fail to take a strong stand against hitler time after time
They knew saying no would bring them into war and both countries weren’t militarized as they were focused on their economy.
