Website or webiste application that adjust its appearacnce to suit the device it is beeing used on by altering fonts, image sizes, content hierachy and how navigation may appear
What is a mobile website?
Also called m-dot webiste. This is a website spesifically deveoped for the capabilities and constraints of mobile devices. A mobile webiste is usually deveoped in conjunction with a seperate website. Example: Facebook
What is a native app?
Software applications built spesifically for use on a mobile or tablet device. Native apps run on the operating system of the mobile device.
What are the two most dominant operating systems?
iOS and Android
What are the checklist point of making an app?
- volume: Do you have a lot of users?
- frequency: Hov´w often do they use the app?
- unique: Does your app need native capabilities a web app won´t provide?
- Cost: Is the cost of building and maintaining woth the benefits
what is it called when you separate apps?
Un-bundling (Facebook has done this with facebook and messenger)
What is important to consider when deciding to use a hub and spokes model
- should only be used when the sequence is not natural
- minimal dependenscies between the tasks
- long involved transactions
What is a hub and spoke model
The non-linear sequence does not have to be completed step by step. You might even go in and change some of the decistions. This is called a hub and spoke

Primary menu appears using sliding navigation for the side.

When you have broad content functionality
