What are the key factors of the background on Potsdam?
A
- Germany + allies surrendered in May 1945
- War continued between USA and Japan
- No free elections in Poland
- Stalin exiling Polish people out of Poland
- Both new leaders (Truman + Atlee) hostile to communism
- USA terminated aid to Russia after defeat of Germany with no notice
- USA have an atomic bomb and Stalin shouldn’t know (but does anyways)
