What was true about Russian society system (what class system did they have, which order of people)?
There was a class hierarchy (Tzar on top, governors, church, Army, middle class and the finally peasants and workers)
Why were the peasants unhappy?
Made up 85% of the population while living in horrible conditions
Why were the workers unhappy?
They worked 16 hr days with marginal pay, they lived in horrid conditions - multiple families per room within boarding houses
Why were the political parties unhappy?
Groups such as the Bolsheviks were banned due to the autocratic society and the rule against speaking out about the Tsar
Why were the foreigners unhappy?
making up most of Russia, (roughly 40%) the foreigners were forced to live under the rule of RUSSIFICATION where by they had to give up their culture and nationality to seemingly “become Russian”
Why were the middle class unhappy?
There was no democracy within the society and they wanted a say in the political actions of their country
