What are the main functions of the frontal lobe?
Main functions are personality, decision making, understanding social norms, and logic.
What are the main functions of the parietal lobe?
Main functions are Sensory perception/integration, taste, hearing, sight, touch and smell.
When the frontal lobe is damaged what occurs?
When damaged; personality changes, wont be able to focus/concentrate on certain things, and become impulsive
What happens when the Left Parietal lobe is damaged?
It will result in difficulty in writing, not able to comprehend math/language, and unable to perceive objects
What happens when the Right Parietal lobe is damaged?
It will result in difficulty doing simple tasks like brushing hair, dressing, or drawing or constructing things
Where is the Parietal lobe located?
The Parietal lobe is located at the top and center of the ceberal cortex, behind the frontal lobe, and above the occipital and temporal lobes.
Where is the frontal lobe located?
Directly behind the forhead
