A
- Sleep unconscious actually goes through various levels of awareness/brain activity
- We go through 5-6 cycles of sleep, that means we have 5-6 dreams/night, even though we may not always remember them
- We usually enter the first rem stage 90 minutes into our sleep
- Some researchers have found REM deprivation helps alleviate depression
