The purpose of this activity today is to bring your attention to mindfulness. The thousands of moments we experience each day hold the potential for giving our lives pleasure and meaning.

Benefits to being mindful include aging better, generating effort to help others, creating alertness, being happier, battle our evaluative nature and lead us to make fewer unnecessary judgments even positive ones, increasing ones awareness, reducing stress and anxiety, increasing positive emotional states, interacting effectively with others who are culturally different, creating awareness of ones biases, solving problems more creatively, ability to self regulate.
