A

Regular paracetamol

Topical NSAIDs- ibuprofen, especially for knee

Consider NSAID if ineffective- unless on low dose aspirin, give mild opioid. Use lowest effective dose for shortest time

Intra-articular corticosteroids- temporary benefit
