F.S.S. Chapter 119 states that all State, County, and Municipal Records, except those records that are otherwise exempt from disclosure, shall at all times be open for personal inspection by any person. The following will apply once a grievance has been filed by an employee:

a. A copy will be maintained by the JSO Human Resources Division for employees of the JSO; and
b. Once a disposition has been reached, the appropriate bargaining unit will maintain the original copy of the grievances that are submitted for employees covered under appropriate employee contracts.
