organs that work together to make organ systems to carry out tasks so that the plant survives

A
epidermal tissue - covers whole plant
palisade mesophyll - photosynthesis happens
spongy mesophyll - allow gases to diffuse in and out
phloem and xylem - transport water, mineral ions and food
meristem tissue - growing tips or shoots and roots

how does the structure of tissues relate to their funstion
A
epd - covered in waxy cuticle - reduces water loss
upper epd - transparent for light to pass through
palisade - lots of chloroplasts get a lot of light
phloem and xylem - network of vascular bundles - deliver water and other nutrients
tissues - efficient for gas exchange
