A

excessive protein deposited in tissues –> beta pleated sheets

tissue becomes bulky, interferes w/ function

Cardiac: thickening of heart muscle and CHF
-interrupt conduction –> arrhythmias

Renal: nephrotic syndrome, renal failure

Blood vessels: stroke, heart attack
