How is Hepatitis A spread?
Faecal-oral spread

No
How does Hepatitis A present?
Mild illness, usually full recovery. Small % develop acute liver failure
How is Hepatitis B spread?
blood, blood products, sexually, vertically (in utero)
Do carriers of Hepatitis B exist?
Yes
How does liver damage occur by Hepatitis B?
antiviral immune response
How is Hepatitis C spread?
by blood, blood products, possibly sexually
What is seen histologically for chronic viral hepatitis?
Portal triad inflammation
