What is the purpose of the Emergency Evacuation standard operating guideline?

Who can order an Emergency Evacuation?
Only the Incident Commander or Incident Safety Officer can order an Emergency Evacuation.
What message does the Incident Commander transmit for an evacuation?
“(Incident location) Command to all units, EVACUATE, EVACUATE.”
What must the Incident Commander do after ordering an evacuation?
Notify dispatch of the evacuation order.
What action should be taken regarding the apparatus air horn during an evacuation?
Assign someone to activate an apparatus air horn continuously for ten (10) seconds.
What should personnel do during an emergency evacuation?
Leave the structure or IDLH atmosphere immediately, potentially leaving tools, equipment, and hoselines behind, while maintaining crew integrity as a high priority.
Where should all personnel assemble after an evacuation?
At the Command Post or a prescribed location for a Personnel Accountability Report (PAR).
What happens if a firefighter is unaccounted for after an evacuation?
The Incident Commander shall declare a Mayday and develop an action plan to locate the missing firefighter.
