How does aspirin work?

A

Inhibits COX1/2 from producing thromboxane A2 from arachidonic acid. TA2 is used for platelet activation. Therefore platelet activation is inhibited

A

P2Y12 receptorinhibitor. Stops ADP binding to receptor, which would have activated platelet.
