Pectinous

Proximal attachment: superior ramus of pubis
distal attachment : pectineal line of femur, just inferior to lesser trochanter
action: adducts and flexes hip joint; assists with medial rotation of hip joint
innervation : femoral nerve (L2,L3)

Proximal attachment: anterior superior iliac spine and superior part of notch inferior to it

distal attachment : superior part of medial surface of tibia

action: flexes, abducts, and laterally rotates hip joint; flexes knee joint

innervation : femoral nerve (L2, L3)
