A

They leak out of the capillaries, cover the cells, and diffuse in.

A
  • plasma (55%) contains glucose, co2, water etc.
  • red blood cells (45%)
  • white blood cells and platelets (<1%)

Properties of water

A
  • polar molecule (h2 end is positive, o end is negative)
  • intermolecular hydrogen bonds
  • liquid at room temp due to intermolecular forces
  • thermally stable (slow to cool and heat)
  • it can dissolve polar substances eg. Vitamin c
