What are the main differences between a Minor Works Contract and a Intermediate Contract?
Minor works has less mechanisms available than intermediate so it doesn’t allow for sectional completion or nominated subcontractors.

Practical completion for MW. Sectional completion an option for Intermediate.

6 months under a JCT Intermediate contract.

Request the CD prior to contract, carry out design review and CDP analysis and produce a written document outlining the analysis for appending to the contract.

The process of outlining the extent of the contractors design responsibility for each contractors designed portion and the performance or compliance requirements for it.

A Schedule of Amendments appended to the contract.
