According to Lee Strobel, what is the big difference between Christianity and all other religions?
Other religions are based on people doing something to earn the favor of God. Christianity is based on what Christ has already done on the cross. Jesus offers eternal life as a free gift.
What are the 5 attributes that Jesus had to live up to?
Omniscience - all knowing
omnipresence - everywhere present
omnipotence - all powerful
eternality - no beginning or end
immutability - unchanging
how did Mr. Strobel approach an act described by others as being a miracle?
he considered it supernatural and would look for every possible cause before believing it was a miracle.
what 3 things would suggest that Jesus did not use hypnotism in performing his miracles?
-many people are resistant i big groups (Jesus fed 5000)
-the volunteers have to be willing (miracles were witnessed by Jewish leaders who were skeptics
-hypnotist has to be in direct communication with th volunteers (when Jesus turned water into wine he had no direct communication w guests or even suggested that it was wine.
