Spanish American revolutions
Revolution that took place in the Spanish and Portuguese colonies of mainland Latin America. Nativeborn elites were offended by Spanish monarchy’s efforts to exercise great power over the colonies and subject them to tax. When Napoleon disposed of the Spanish king Ferdinand the seventh delegitimized royal authority was in disarray allowing for common folk in Latin America to take action.

Revolution that occurred in the French colony of St. Domingo. He ended feudalism, proclaimed equality of rights, insisted on religious toleration, codified the laws, and rationalized government administration

A revolution driven by Social conflicts within French society. People of all social economic classes were unhappy with the way that France was being ran. A growing middle-class grew tired of watching their income shrink and ideas of from the Enlightenment movement penetrated French society pushing them toward a violent and radical revolution where the king and his queen where publicly executed and. The north American revolution
A struggle for independence from oppressive British rule. It was launched by the Declaration of Independence and resulted in an unlikely military victory. It was a conservative movement as revolutionaries fought to preserve their existing liberties rather than to create new ones.
