1) Essentialism
the idea that gender differences in behavior stem from qualities that are resident in, or possessed by, women and men.
2) Overt aggression
aggression that physically hurts or threatens another person
3) Relational aggression
aggression that hurts or threatens another person by damaging his or her relationships.

the use of two different standards of acceptable sexual behavior, one for women and one for men.
5) Vasocongestion
a physiological process in sexual response that results in accumulation of blood in the blood vessels of a particular region
