Process through which the firm changes itself,knowledge creation and acquistion

Use of existing knowledge,but also its development

The basic challenge is to recognize the knowledge assets that are within the firm(IP,skills,know-how)

Measuring and valuing the firm’s stock of knowledge and its utilization

Transfer of knowledge from one part of the organization to be replicated in another part

Facilitating sharing and group learning

Integrating knowledge across a broad range of expertise for the purposes of supplying goods and services
