What is the Cardiac Cycle?
The series of events that occur through one heartbeat, including diastole (relaxation) and systole (contraction)
What occurs during diastole?
The heart is filling with blood
What occurs during systole?
The heart contracts and ejects blood
What is the pathway of blood through the heart starting from the right atrium?
