Limitations of Groups

  1. Time: Groups take far more time to make decisions, implement ideas
  2. Conformity Pressures: Individual ideas, desires can be suppressed by majorities or dominant members (group think)
  3. Reduced Individual Responsibilty: Easier for each member to contribute less to the group (social loafing)
