Custom

Multiethnic state
Countries with different cultural groups but they do not want autonomy(conflict) EX: Australia and the US
Multinational state
Countries with different cultural groups but they do want autonomy/sovereignty/ independence EX: Spain, UK
Multi-nation state
Nations(cultural groups) that are spread over more than one political state. EX: N, S Korea can be stateless or want to join existing states
Nation-state
A country with highly dominant cultural group in it Ex: Denmark, Dains
